Hello, Birchwood!

I always thought I might run for local office someday. Then this year, when the filing deadline passed and one of our City Council seats had no candidates, someday became today. Even in a small residential community like Birchwood, there are key issues we need to address to keep our city a great place to live in the long term. It is up to us to care for Birchwood, so I’m launching a write-in campaign for City Council.

The issues Birchwood faces are typical for a small city: caring for our infrastructure, managing our budget, and preparing for our future. As a lifelong learner and passionate community builder, I look forward to learning about our aging roads, water, and sewer; hearing from my neighbors about their hopes and concerns; and collaborating to chart a sustainable path forward.
